What is a life story?
A life story is your story! I work with you to capture and preserve your unique story in an heirloom-quality book. Whether you choose to focus on scattered stories or your life’s journey, I can help you incorporate your experiences, history and life lessons into a memoir that you and your family can enjoy and that can span generations. Both hard and soft covered books, and e-books are available.
Will your life story be a recipe book, a short story, or a full-blown memoir? Does it celebrate your spouse? Will it detail your career, military or family life, or all three? That’s up to you. You talk, I listen and record every detail.
A life story book makes a great anniversary or birthday gift for a loved one too.
Touchstone Storytelling LLC is based in Bloomington, IL, but I travel or can meet via video chat, phone or whatever medium you prefer.

Who am I?
I’m glad you found me!
I’m glad you found me! I am a writer and founder of Touchstone Storytelling LLC which opened in December 2015. Through Touchstone Storytelling I write, edit and design personal histories and family stories, creating custom books.
I began Touchstone Storytelling because I truly believe everyone has a story to tell. I am honored to help clients leave a legacy to those they love.
Additionally, I work as a freelance editor, book designer and business communication manager. I have 20 year’s experience in corporate communications, public relations and development. I am also active in my community having previously served on the board of directors of Faith in Action and The Professional Women of McLean County. Currently I am cofounder and on the Board of The ExtraOrdinary Women Project BN.
I earned a bachelor of art’s degree in English from Eastern Illinois University where I also minored in Journalism and Public Relations.
Touchstone Storytelling LLC serves Bloomington-Normal, Illinois, and the surrounding states. However, I am willing to work with clients long-distance and we can work together to find a cost-effective and creative means in which to communicate and capture your story.
